Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) has just announced the stars of the new Broadway production of Arthur Miller's The Price, directed by Steppenwolf Theatre Company co-founder, Terry Kinney.

Eastern Connecticut State University Performing Arts Department Theatre program will present two award-winning contemporary plays this Fall 2015 dealing with issues so prevalent and relevant that one might think these plays were written based upon the news in today's headlines. Simon Stephens' Pornography to be directed by David Pellegrini will run October 6-11, 2015 and Patrick Shanley's Doubt, A Parable to be directed by Alycia Bright-Holland will run October 27-November 1, 2015. Both shows will be presented Tuesday-Saturday at 7:30pm and Sunday at 4pm in Harry Hope Theatre (Shafer Hall, ground floor; corner of High and Valley Streets, Willimantic, CT).

EMMY Award-Winner Bruce Vilanch stars in a staged reading of RUBBLE, a new comedy by 4 time EMMY Award-Winning 'The Simpsons' writer, Mike Reiss at The Provincetown Theater. 'The Sopranos' star and Broadway veteran Jerry Adler also joins the cast. The staged reading of RUBBLE will be directed by James Valletti for one night only to benefit The Provincetown Theater. All proceeds go directly to support The Provincetown Theater.

Second Stage Theatre kicks off the 2014 Uptown Series with the New York premiere of AMERICAN HERO, written by Bess Wohl and directed by Leigh Silverman. It's Official! Sutton Foster is coming BACK to Broadway, as Roundabout Theatre Company has just announced that it will present two-time Tony Award winner Sutton Foster in a Broadway production of VIOLET (first seen as part of Encores! Off-Center concert series in 2013), directed by Leigh Silverman. Based on the short story 'The Ugliest Pilgrim' by Doris Betts, VIOLET features music by Jeanine Tesori and book & lyrics by Brian Crawley. VIOLET will be produced in association with Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino, David Mirvish, Barry and Fran Weissler, Elizabeth Armstrong, and Mary Jo and Ted Shen.
