Dallas Opera's 4/13 TURANDOT Cowboys Stadium Simulcast Draws 20,000 Ticket Requests

The Dallas Opera, in partnership with Cowboys Stadium and with support from The Dallas Foundation, is delighted to report that more than 20,000 tickets have been requested for the free April 13th Dallas Opera Cowboys Stadium Simulcast in Arlington, TX. Of that number, over 40 percent of the households have no previous purchase history or simulcast history with the Dallas Opera; while more than half of the tickets were requested by households that either attended or requested tickets for the initial simulcast last April.

The work, which had never been seen in London before, continued and extended this small and intimate theatre's burgeoning reputation for attracting the very best talent in British theatre in order to rediscover and stage lesser-known works by major writers. Three giants of the British stage come together as Trevor Nunn directs Eileen Atkins and Michael Gambon in All That Fall, a radio play by Samuel Beckett. The work, which has never been seen in London before, continues and extends this small and intimate theatre's burgeoning reputation for attracting the very best talent in British theatre in order to rediscover and stage lesser-known works by major writers. Jermyn Street's production of ALL THAT FALL will play 9th October - 3rd November, with press night set for 11th October at 7.30pm.

Richard P. Garmany Fund Renews Support for Hartt Chamber Music Series Through 2014

The Hartt School, the comprehensive performing arts school of the University of Hartford, today announced that the Richard P. Garmany Fund at the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving has renewed its support for School's Richard P. Garmany Chamber Music Series through 2014. The Fund, which has been the principal underwriter of the Series since its inception, will provide Hartt with $53,000 for each of the next two seasons.
