Building on the previous success of the “Summer Fun & Games” brand, The ABC Television Network is expanding its slate of game shows to three nights, adding four new exciting series to the upcoming schedule. In addition to bringing back the iconic “Press Your Luck” and “Card Sharks” to TV, ABC will launch two new alternative shows – “Holey Moley,” an epic mini-golf competition featuring NBA superstar Stephen Curry as resident golf pro; and “Family Food Fight,” hosted by renowned restaurateur and New York Times best-selling cookbook author Ayesha Curry. All of these shows are part of the summer premiere dates schedule announced today by the network.

In this two-person character study, Joey Brant (R. Emmett Lee, who more than adequately took on the challenge of learning to speak Hebrew for the part) is a Jewish divorce lawyer in his 60s who never had a bar mitzvah ceremony. For reasons which become clear in the story, Joey's bar mitzvah ceremony must take place at the synagogue he attended five decades ago where his grandson Ben Goldman will carry on the family tradition with his own bar mitzvah in a matter of months. Joey, a thoroughly secularized man, must now re-connect with the faith of his ancestors, but promptly alienates the synagogue's regular instructor. But when Joey goes to meet with the temple's new rabbi for his bar mitzvah lessons, he is shocked to find a woman is now in charge.

The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts presents Inna Faliks, piano, one of the most "adventurous and passionate" (The New Yorker) artists of her generation, performing a world premiere by Richard Danielpour and works by Rodion Shchedrin, Schumann and Chopin in her Wallis debut on Sunday, May 12, 2019, 7 pm, in The Wallis' Bram Goldsmith Theater. The Ukrainian-born American pianist gives the world premiere of Iranian-American composer Danielpour's Eleven Bagatelles for Piano, Shchedrin's Basso Ostinato, Chopin's Polonaise-Fantasie, Op 61, and Schumann's Symphonic Etudes, Op 13, with posthumous variations. Faliks, Head of Piano at UCLA, performs on leading stages around the globe, garnering acclaim for her musical "poetry and panoramic vision" (The Washington Post) and "riveting passion" (The Baltimore Sun). Grammy winner Danielpour is "an outstanding composer" (New York Daily News) and one of the most recorded composers of his generation with a list of commissions from Yo-Yo Ma, Jessye Norman, Dawn Upshaw, Emanuel Ax, the New York Philharmonic, Vienna Chamber Orchestra and the Guarneri and Emerson string quartets, among many others. Like Faliks, he also teaches at UCLA, as Co-Area Head, Composition.

HERE welcomes composer and singer Gelsey Bell, OBIE and Doris Duke award-winning playwright Julia Jarcho, and NAACP-nominated theatre-maker Nia O. Witherspoon as new members of the HERE Artist Residency Program (HARP).

The Boston Modern Orchestra Project (BMOP), the nation's premier orchestra dedicated exclusively to commissioning, performing, and recording new orchestral music, celebrates the rich, unusual, and widely celebrated work of composer John Corigliano. Led by Artistic Director and Conductor Gil Rose, BMOP performs the Boston premiere of Troubadours, featuring guitar virtuoso Eliot Fisk, followed by the Pulitzer Prize-winning Symphony No. 2.

On April 16, 2019-the late, legendary American choreographer Merce Cunningham's 100th birthday-the largest Cunningham Event ever staged will take place in London, New York City, and Los Angeles.

Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced the full cast and creative team for Paradise Square: An American Musical. The world premiere is helmed by acclaimed director Moises Kaufman, with choreography by the legendary Bill T. Jones and a book by Marcus Gardley, Craig Lucas, and Larry Kirwan. Music by Jason Howland and Larry Kirwan, with lyrics by Nathan Tysen, and based on the songs of Stephen Foster. Paradise Square is produced by special arrangement with Garth H. Drabinsky in association with Peter LeDonne and Teatro Proscenium Limited Partnership.

CBS today announced an all-star lineup of Drew Barrymore, RuPaul Charles, James Corden and Faith Hill for THE WORLD'S BEST, a new global talent competition series from two of the most prolific unscripted producers in television, Mike Darnell (“American Idol” and “Ellen's Game of Games”) and Mark Burnett (SURVIVOR, “The Voice”).

Queer|Art, the New York City-based non-profit supporting the creative and professional development of LGBTQ artists, is pleased to announce the Fall 2018 season of Queer|Art|Film at IFC Center (323 Sixth Avenue at West 3rd St.), September 17-December 3. Curated by filmmakers Ira Sachs, Adam Baran, and Vanessa Haroutunian, the season brings together an eclectic mix of independent, experimental, and Hollywood cinema, presented by a multigenerational lineup of queer visual artists, poets, composers, and cinema legends. A highlight of the season is a special experimental shorts program on the evening of December 3 (organized with legendary experimental filmmaker Barbara Hammer), which coincides with the announcement of the winner of the 2018 Barbara Hammer Lesbian Experimental Filmmaking Grant. Early 2019 will bring GOD SAID THIS by Leah Nanako Winkler (Two Mile Hollow), directed by Morgan Gould (Kentucky); and the season will conclude in Spring 2019 with LITTLE WOMEN, written by Kate Hamill (Pride and Prejudice), based on the novel by Louisa May Alcott, and directed by Sarna Lapine (Sunday in the Park with George). Performance schedules, additional casting, and full creative teams will be announced at a later date.

Fifi Bloomsbury Khier, Charlotte Breen, Anya Evans and Lucy Simmonds alternate in the central role of Tina Denmark in Joel Paley and Marvin Laird's award-winning all female character camp killer cult classic Ruthless! The Musical. They join Jason Gardiner, Lara Denning, Kim Maresca, Harriet Thorpe and Tracie Bennett, completing the full company ahead of it's strictly limited 14 week run at the Arts Theatre.
