People's Light & Theatre Company presents SNOW WHITE, by Kathryn Petersen, with music and lyrics written by Michael Ogborn, from November 18, 2009 to January 3, 2010 on the Main Stage. Pete Pryor directs. SNOW WHITE is one of three shows in the Target Family Discovery Series and is sponsored by ING.

A third set of presenters has been announced for the 61st Primetime Emmy (R) Awards airing Sunday, Sept. 20, on CBS. Primetime Emmy Award winners Michael J. Fox and Ellen Burstyn along with nominees Jon Cryer, Tracy Morgan and Bob Newhart, in addition to Patricia Arquette, David Boreanaz, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Rob Lowe, Hayden Panettiere, Josh Radnor and Cobie Smulders will present. The telecast will be broadcast live from the NOKIA Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, Sept. 20 (8:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Producer Jeffrey Finn announced today that OLEANNA, the provocative drama by Pulitzer Prize winner David Mamet, will have its first-ever Broadway production as part of the 2009-2010 Broadway Season. Starring Bill Pullman and Julia Stiles and directed by Tony Award winner Doug Hughes, the play is a gripping account of a power struggle between a male university professor and one of his female students.

American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) continues its 2008-09 season with John Guare's Rich & Famous, directed by John Rando (Urinetown, The Musical and Wedding Singer on Broadway) in its first major revival since its 1976 New York debut. From the ingenious mind of John Guare, who brought Six Degrees of Separation and The House of Blue Leaves to the American stage, this delicious dark comedy springs to life with twisted humor, rapid-fire dialogue, and outrageous plot twists. The revival script includes significant rewrites to the original text, as well as hilarious songs freshly scribed by Guare himself. In Rich and Famous, playwright Bing Ringling yearns to savor the sweet taste of celebrity, and he's hoping play number 844 will be his lucky break. But on opening night, he slips into a nightmarish phantasmagoria that shows him just how wrong things can go.

The New York Pops led by Vincent Falcone and Eric Stern, celebrates its hometown on Friday, November 7, 2008 at 8 p.m. at Carnegie Hall in a program entitled 'A Love Letter to New York' featuring classic songs about New York City and the world premieres of original songs about the city by composer Kenneth Laub. Clint Holmes headlines the concert with special guests Ashley Brown, Laura Bell Bundy and Linda Hart. The program also includes songs by Stephen Sondheim and Cole Porter. Nicola and Acting Managing Director Fred Walker have announced that The Sound and The Fury (April Seventh, 1928), based on part one of the novel by William Faulkner, created by Elevator Repair Service (ERS), and directed by John Collins, will begin performances Tuesday, April 15, at NYTW, 79 East 4th Street, between Second Avenue and Bowery. Opening night is scheduled for Tuesday, April 29 at 7:00pm. The production will run through May 18.
