Complete casting has been announced by La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts (Brian Kite, producing artistic director), Bruce Robert Harris and Jack W. Batman, and The Transfer Group (Suzan Fairchild, Artistic Producer), for the Los Angeles premiere of the all-new, reimagined, environmental and completely immersive theater production of the legendary musical CARRIE THE MUSICAL. Performances are set to begin at Southern California's La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts (14900 La Mirada Blvd.) on Thursday, March 12, 2015 for a limited engagement through Sunday, April 5, 2015. This is when Sheena Jansen and Max Wojtanowicz gather a few of their friends, who just happen to be among the most talented musical theater artists in town, for a little cabaret show. They've been doing it for over two years now, and it just keeps getting better and better. Each month has a theme, and this being February, the theme for this month's show was love. It was a fabulously entertaining night of musical theater, and it also served as a preview for shows to come this spring and summer. NYHRC Offers ON THE TOWN Dance Class with Alicia Harris This Weekend

New York Health and Racquet Club (NYHRC) teams up with Broadway's On the Town, to offer an exclusive new dance class, Dancin' On the Town. Broadway's revival of this classic New York show is what The New York Times called 'The Best Musical of the Year.' This class will include music from the show and a 1940's-inspired routine as led by former Broadway dancer and NYHRC instructor, Alicia Harris. With this offering, NYHRC moves into its second year of collaboration with Broadway for in 2014 the club ran a popular boxing class, Rocky Ringside, which was inspired by ROCKY. (more...)

A Night On the Town quickly turned into a fabulous night On the Town as Kansas City crooner Molly Hammer took the stage. Tim Scott directed the new series from Musical Theatre Heritage, which is sold-out through the end of the production. A Night On the Town named to honor the "A Night On the Town" nationally syndicated radio series, with Executive Director George Harter that he founded in 1998 premiered Thursday night, February 12 at the Musical Theatre Heritage Theatre in Crown Center.
