A delightful family comedy, 'Over the River and Through the Woods' is about Four grandparents who will do whatever it takes to keep their only grandson from moving from New Jersey to Seattle to take a new job. Definitely see "Church Basement Ladies" and this incredible new space. ...the outstanding performances, character bonding and the truths of these Four women will resonate. The sold-out audience was enthralled the night I went, appreciative at seeing professional performers shining on a brand new stage. As for the Jimmy Ferraro Studio Theatre, it looks like it will be a New Port Richey touchstone for a long time to come. Pittsburgh CLO, a leading non-profit musical theater organization located in downtown Pittsburgh, announced today that it has been awarded a Four-year, $800,000 grant from the PNC Foundation to strengthen and expand the CLO Academy of Musical Theater. The funds will support the Children's School, a program of the Pittsburgh CLO Academy, which teaches children ages 3 to 10 the fundamentals of musical theater. The school will be renamed The PNC Children's School. (more...)
