The 6,489-pipe colossus is a design collaboration between Jack Diamond, Principal, Diamond Schmitt Architects and Quebec-based organ manufacturer Casavant Freres. Tony and Olivier Award winning producers, Stewart F. Lane and Bonnie Comley hosted a dinner in honor of the 2014-2015 Directors Project fellows on Tuesday, May 13th. The Directors Project fellows are in New York city for an intensive week-long orientation program which includes a series of events and opportunities to speak with theatre professionals. DiPrieto's play is affectionately written and deftly sketches the growing attraction between two lonely seniors, Ralph and Carol, providing some nicely observed character comedy. Perry Shields' deft direction keeps the action moving at a fast clip, with all four actors perfectly cast.
