Diablo Ballet celebrates its 24th Anniversary with a special one-night only performance on March 22, 6:30pm at the Lesher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek. The program will feature selections from Swan Lake along with new ballets, company favorites and the World Premiere short film celebrating Diablo Ballet's Anniversary. "I am so very proud to be celebrating this special anniversary performance with the community and patrons that have kept us on our toes for the last 24 years," states Artistic Director, Lauren Jonas.

Well-renowned television personality, Mario Lopez, will host Splash of Love, an annual gala and fundraiser event to benefit the P.S. I Love You Foundation's Love4Life learning program. The event is set to take place on Saturday, April 14, 2018, from 6 P.M. to 10 P.M. and will be held at the newly renovated Proud Bird Food Bazaar and Events Center in the Grand Ballroom at 11022 Aviation Boulevard, Los Angeles, California 90045.

The holidays are a special time at The Nash as the renowned jazz club sprinkles a dash of holiday themed concerts throughout the month, bringing classic jazz and hot Latin sounds to warm up the holiday month. Highlights include the arrival of one of the most renowned samba bands, direct from New York City, Duduka da Fonseca Trio w/ Maucha Adnet on December 9th. Both Duduka and Maucha worked closely with the iconic Antonio Carlos Jobin, the King of Bossa Nova.

Roundabout Theatre Company has just announced its 2017-18 Artists in Residence. 'I started the Artists in Residence program about 25 years ago to provide artistic and financial support to early-career artists, giving them a theatre to call home and to provide peace of mind for a sustainable career,' says Roundabout Artistic Director Todd Haimes. 'Over the years, this program has evolved to include playwrights, mid-career directors and even an entire young company. On November 12, 2017, the Auditorium Theatre, The Theatre for the People, commemorates the 50th anniversary of its grand re-opening with A Golden Celebration of Dance, a one-night-only mixed repertory program featuring dancers from the world's premier dance companies: Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, American Ballet Theatre, Dutch National Ballet, Eifman Ballet of St. Petersburg, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, The Joffrey Ballet, MOMIX, New York City Ballet, Parsons Dance, The Suzanne Farrell Ballet, and The Washington Ballet. In addition, the evening will feature special performances by finalists from the Youth America Grand Prix, the next generation of great dancers.

Interrobang Theatre Project, dedicated to producing rarely seen shows with relevant themes and raw emotions, has announced its eighth season, featuring three plays that examine the fine line between reality and perception. This season, Interrobang invites audiences to ponder the particularly urgent question: What is Truth?

Abrons Arts Center will present the world premiere of Caborca's adaptation of Roberto Bola o's ground-breaking novel Distant Star, a harrowing tale of fascism and its aftermath. Running September 14 - October 1, this eerily relevant drama weaves Bola o's memories of life (and death) under Pinochet's American-backed dictatorship into a perverse, seductive noir of urgent political necessity.
