Mary Poppins will begin performances at the New Amsterdam Theatre on October 14, 2006 for a November 16, 2006 opening. The Lion King will exit the New Amsterdam Theatre on June 4, 2006, to re-open at the Minskoff on June 13, 2006.

Complete casting was announced today for the upcoming Broadway production of LENNON, the world premiere musical based on the life and songs of John Lennon. The cast includes Will Chase, Chuck Cooper, Julie Danao, Mandy Gonzalez, Marcy Harriell, Chad Kimball, Terrence Mann, Julia Murney, and Michael Potts.

AIDA To Begin Final 16 Performances Tomorrow

Elton John & Tim Rice's AIDA begins its final 16 performances at the Palace Theatre (1564 Broadway) tomorrow, Tuesday, August 24 following its triumphant 54-month run on Broadway. AIDA will close on Sunday, September 5 after playing 1,844 performances.
