Noises Off - 1983 - Broadway History , Info & More

Noises Off is a hilarious farce by Michael Frayn that takes you behind the scenes of a chaotic theatre production.

The story unfolds in three acts, each showcasing a performance of a terrible sex comedy called "Nothing On." The first act is a technical rehearsal, a frantic night before opening where the cast and crew struggle with faulty props, missed cues, and forgotten lines. Director Lloyd tries desperately to wrangle his forgetful actors, frustrated stage manager Tim juggles a million tasks, and the simmering tensions between cast members threaten to boil over.
