Maurer Productions OnStage (MPO) brings Ken Ludwig's comedy farce 'Lend Me A Tenor' to the Kelsey stage Fridays, Feb. 20 and 27 at 8 p.m.; Saturdays, Feb. 21 and 28 at 8 p.m.; and Sundays, Feb. 22 and March 1 at 2 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is conveniently located on the college's West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road. Feast Productions has announced the world premiere of TRACES, the first production in Jackalope Theatre Company's new works program/initiative, the Pioneer Series, in The Frontier, Jackalope's newly renovated storefront performance venue. TRACES is an urban faerie tale based on the Scottish folk ballad Tam Lin, written by Shannon Pritchard and directed by Jessica Fisch. Playing March 6-28, 2015 at The Frontier, at 1106 W Thorndale Ave, TRACES is the result of a partnership between Feast Productions and Jackalope Theatre Company. The Old Globe's West Coast Premiere of The Twenty-seventh Man by award-winning novelist Nathan Englander, directed by Globe Artistic Director Barry Edelstein, will now play an extra week of performances -- through March 22 -- due to ticket demand for the originally announced run. Tony and Emmy Award winner Hal Linden ("Barney Miller," The Rothschilds) leads a cast of Broadway and Globe veterans including Ron Orbach, Robert Dorfman, Eli Gelb, James Shanklin, and Lowell Byers. The Twenty-seventh Man will run February 14 through March 22 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run February 14-18. Queens-based Titan Theatre Company will conclude its critically acclaimed 2014/15 season with a signature take on Shakespeare's classic tragedy Othello featuring an ALL FEMALE CAST. The production will play a limited run April 17 - May 2, 2015 at Queens Theatre, the borough's premiere performing arts venue. Titan Theatre Company Artistic Director Lenny Banovez, who previously helmed Titan's hit productions of A Midsummer Night's Dream, Romeo and Juliet and Henry V, will direct. Shakespeare's most tragic hero squares off against arguably his greatest villain, in the classic tale of jealousy, betrayal, and vengeance. Dowd and Maureen Lipman as Veta Louise Simmons, will play a limited season at London's Theatre Royal Haymarket from Tuesday 17 March until Saturday 2 May, with a Gala Night on Monday 23 March. The production first plays Birmingham Repertory Theatre beginning 6 February, running until 21 February, with a national press night on Tuesday 17 February. With this lens of PTSD, WSC Avant Bard's current production becomes an examination of civilian vs. military life, generational differences, differing life experiences and, at its core, the terrible ravages of war. Directed by Obie and Lucille Lortel Award winner Dan Wackerman (Counsellor-at-Law), Rocket to the Moon will play a limited engagement, opening Monday, February 23rd.
