The Belgrade Theatre has announced more shows to be added to its Spring 2018 Season, including the multi-award winning West End comedy The Play That Goes Wrong from Mon 19 to Sat 24 March, back by phenomenal demand following a sold out run earlier this year.

Irish Repertory Theatre announced today three upcoming special events for the Francis J. Greenburger Mainstage at Irish Rep Theatre (132 West 22nd Street).

Point Park University's Conservatory Theatre Company presents Kiss Me, Kate, a classic American musical about romance, comedy, and all of the shenanigans that go into making a musical. With a sweeping score and jazzed-out dance numbers, this is a pivotal show that defined the Golden Age of musicals and even won the first-ever Tony Award for Best Musical in 1949.

Mr. Trifonov has already developed an international career as a solo artist, a champion of the concerto repertoire, a collaborator at the keyboard in chamber music and song, and as a composer artistic facets that will all be showcased in his seven-concert Perspectives series this season, beginning with a solo recital in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage on Saturday, October 28. At 26 years of age, Mr. Trifonov is the youngest artist ever to curate a Perspectives series at Carnegie Hall.

Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana today announced the program for its annual New York City season, May 16-21, 2017, at BAM Fisher.

The Metropolitan Opera's 2017-18 season will feature 220 performances of 26 works, including two Met premieres, one co-commissioned by the company and one an older masterpiece having its first Met performances; a variety of repertory favorites, three in new productions; and performances of Verdi's towering concert work for soloists, orchestra, and chorus, the Requiem. Of note, Broadway star Kelli O'Hara is set to return to the Met in Così fan tutte this season.

Manhattan Concert Productions has just announced lead casting for their 25th anniversary concert version of Gershwin's musical comedy Crazy for You. Tony award nominees Tony Yazbeck and Laura Osnes, will co-star as Bobby Child and Polly Baker for this one night only event at David Geffen Hall, Lincoln Center on February 19, 2017 at 8:00 p.m. Five-time Tony Award winner Susan Stroman will direct the Tony Award-winning Crazy for You 25 years to the day from its opening night on Broadway. The performance features Stroman's choreography from the original production, a chorus of 240 singers from across the United States, a professional cast and creative team, and the enlarged forces of the New York City Chamber Orchestra. Following the success of The Secret Garden earlier this year, Crazy for You marks the fifth installment of Manhattan Concert Productions' critically acclaimed Broadway Series that has also included Parade, Titanic, and Ragtime.

The New York Philharmonic will present Beloved Friend - Tchaikovsky and His World: A Philharmonic Festival, January 24-February 11, 2017, featuring Russian-born Semyon Bychkov conducting works by Tchaikovsky as well as composers he was influenced by and whom he influenced, with piano soloists Yefim Bronfman and Kirill Gerstein.

The Joyce Theater Foundation, Inc. (Linda Shelton, Executive Director), will present the long-awaited NYC return of one of the world's most renowned ballet companies, The Joffrey Ballet, performing the New York premiere of its critically acclaimed production of Krzysztof Pastor's majestic Romeo & Juliet at Lincoln Center's David H. ONSTAGE in Bedford Artistic Director Michael B. Winters announced tonight via Facebook the theater's 32nd season, which will be performed at the Trinity Arts Theater in the historic Bedford Boys Ranch. Ehrenkranz Artistic Director Jane Moss today announced the schedule for Lincoln Center's seventh White Light Festival, running from October 16 through November 16, 2016. The international multidisciplinary festival, which takes its name from a quotation by the Estonian composer Arvo Part, is an annual exploration of the power of art to illuminate our interior and communal lives.
