The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre, called 'a riotously funny and campy variety show' by Next Magazine, and 'a rollicking, wry affair complete with funny political commentary on current events' by Gay City News, will present their second annual Pride benefit for The Ali Forney Center at Joe's Pub on Monday, June 13 at 7:00 PM. 'Night of A Thousand Judys' - which will honor the legendary singer and actress with special skits, tributes and songs from her storied career - will be directed by Christian Coulson. The show will feature appearances by Jackie Hoffman (The Addams Family, Hairspray), Kim Smith (Bistro Award for 'Outstanding Performer on the Rise'), Cole Escola (Logo TV's 'Jeffery & Cole Casserole'), Lady Rizo (Grammy winning singer and chanteuse) and Summer & Eve (the folk-musical comedy band featuring Nadia Quinn of Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson), with more to be added soon. As reported in the New York Daily News, The Motherfuck**er With The Hat star Bobby Cannavale sustained a head injury backstage during last night's performance about an hour into the performance. Though bleeding, the injusry was not serious. The production was paused and an ambulence called as a precaution, Cannavale finished the performance. (more...)

Her show is titled 'IT'S MAY IN MAYE' but it should be titled 'MAYE, MAY BE ONE OF THE BEST SINGERS YOU MAY EVER HEAR' Steve Allen, Johnny Carson, Jackie Gleason, Dick Cavett and Ed Sullivan all agreed and on that! Attending Marilyn's show at Feinstein's in 2011 was akin to being able to see Arnold Palmer win the Masters or Mohammed Ali winning the Championship Heavyweight Belt in 2011. Marilyn in her early years always possessed a dynamism, legitimacy, excitement, and glorious musicianship that thrilled audiences, and she still does it time and time again. Space Show Hours Space Shows are shown Monday through Friday every half hour, 10:30 am- 4:30 pm except Wednesdays (first show on Wednesday begins at 11 am). Saturday through Sunday, every half hour, 10:30 am-5 pm. Admission Suggested general admission, which supports the Museum's scientific and educational endeavors and includes 46 Museum halls and the Rose Center for Earth and Space, is $16 (adults) suggested; $12 (students/seniors) suggested; $9 (children) suggested.
