Patent 6,831,556 is directed to digital multimedia systems that may be utilized with emergency response vehicles. The patented invention involves a device for capturing at least two of video, audio and metadata information; combining the information into an integrated data stream and storing the data stream in the vehicle; and a wired or wireless process of transferring the integrated data stream from the vehicle to a remote location. BWW Reviews: Shakespeare Festival St. Louis's Triumphant Productions of HENRY IV and HENRY V

Since the stories and cast of HENRY IV (pts. 1 & 2) and HENRY V intertwine, it's only fitting that I review Shakespeare Festival St. Louis' marvelous productions together. The shows will alternate (every evening except Tuesdays), and there will be special performances the next two weekends where both plays will be performed back to back. It's an amazing feat and since it's free to the public there's no reason not to pack up the whole family for a trip to Forest Park to check out these entertaining history lessons. Artistic Director Rick Dildine has put together an experience that I cannot recommend highly enough. It's truly a triumph. (more...)

SHOWTIME has given a pilot production order to ROADIES, a comedy that follows the day-to-day life of a successful rock tour as seen through the eyes of music's unsung background players - the crew members who help get the show on the road. Cameron Crowe, who won an Oscar(R) for brilliantly chronicling the highs and lows of rock and roll life as witnessed by a Rolling Stone magazine cub reporter in his semi-autobiographical film Almost Famous, wrote and will direct the one-hour pilot (for a potential half-hour series). Crowe will executive produce with Emmy(R) and Tony(R) nominee Winnie Holzman (Huge, My So-Called Life, Wicked), who will serve as showrunner, as well as Emmy winners J.J. Abrams (Lost, Fringe, Person of Interest) and Bryan Burk (Lost, Fringe, Person of Interest). Kathy Lingg (Person of Interest, Revolution) is co-executive producer. ROADIES is produced by Bad Robot Productions, Vinyl Films and Dooley & Company Productions, in association with Warner Bros. Television.
