A multi-talented cast and onstage band bring to life the famous songs of 'The Man In Black' when Cabrillo Music Theatre's production of RING OF FIRE: THE MUSIC OF JOHNNY CASH makes its Thousand Oaks premiere at the Civic Arts Plaza.

Hugh Jackman will return to Broadway during the 2013/2014 season starring as America's greatest showman in HOUDINI, an original musical. Making his Broadway debut as librettist, Academy Award and six-time Emmy Award winner Aaron Sorkin will collaborate with three-time Academy Award and four-time Grammy Award winner Stephen Schwartz. Directed by three-time Tony Award winner Jack O'Brien, HOUDINI is presented by film and theatre producer Scott Sanders and David Rockwell. Mr. Rockwell will also design the sets for HOUDINI. Additional HOUDINI casting, creative team and design team to be announced at a later date.

After breaking box office records and selling out in record time in 2006 and 2008, WICKED, Broadway's biggest blockbuster, will return to Detroit with performances at the Detroit Opera House, December 7-31.

Aurora Theatre Company presents a fusion of dance, music and acting in its production of 'The Soldier's Tale' now through December 18. The show features music written by Igor Stravinksy. Directors Muriel Maffre (choreography) and Tom Ross (staging and acting) tell Broadway World about the show, which tells of a soldier and his deal with the Devil. Muriel, herself, takes to the stage as the puppeteer behind the soldier puppet, which she originally conceived for a music festival at Orcas Island.

Feinstein's at Loews Regency is now presenting the Tony Award winning theater icon Betty Buckley in an exclusive four week run of the new show 'Ah Men! The Boys of Broadway.' In the show, Buckley performs men's songs from Broadway shows that she has always wanted to sing, including numbers from Sweeney Todd, West Side Story, Guys and Dolls, On A Clear Day You Can See Forever, Pippin, Mame and La Cage Aux Folles. She is joined by Christian Jacob on piano, Peter Barshay on bass and Anthony Pinciotti on drums. The show runs through October 29 at Feinstein's. The New School for Drama has announced that Drama Desk Award-winning actor Kathleen Chalfant will be the distinguished Artist-in-Residence for the 2011-2012 academic year.

MARY POPPINS, Broadway's perfectly magical musical, will surpass PIPPIN as the 30th longest-running show in Broadway history when it plays performance #1945 on Saturday, July 16 at 2pm at the New Amsterdam Theatre.
