He's a jingle writer; she's a full-time temp. Stood up and fed up, they decide to cheat fate and fall in love…whether they like each other or not. A quirky two-hander direct from Canada.
It's the time of year where the Theatre World celebrates the best of the best and special recognition is bestowed upon certain individuals for their work. No...I am not talking about the Tony Awards...although I know where I will be that evening. I talking about the 19th Annual Kleban Awards, which will be presented in a private ceremony on June 1st, 2009.
Many young fans of Spring Awakening dream of one day getting to play a role in the show they love so much, and Andy Mientus is living proof that the dream can come true. An avid fan of the Broadway production and creator of the largest Spring Awakening site on Facebook, Andy was lucky enough to be cast as Hanschen in the current National Tour. Spring Awakening is currently in Toronto at the Canon Theatre, and Andy Mientus took some time to sit down and answer some questions for his fans.

I never like comparisons but this show may very will be the next '39 Steps' a potential award winning mega hit that starts off from a (not so) small theatre. In this case it's the Lyric Theatre in south London and the show is a farce called ‘Spyski'. It's produced and performed by Peepolykus (pronounced people-like-us) who have been quite rightly lauded as one of - it not THE UK's most exciting touring theatre companies around. They really go to town with their latest hit packing them in at the Lyric Theatre Hammersmith in rainy London.

Starting at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, the 13th season of the Emmy-winning reality competition will follow the teams as they travel over 30,000 miles in 23 days to countries such as Brazil, Bolivia, Russia, India and Kazakhstan.
Without overstating the case, this is a marvel to behold - a purely theatrical wonder.
