Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) announced a new line up for its 2016-17 Season today.

Disney just held its developmental lab for the Broadway-bound FROZEN, and new details on what promises to be the Great White Way's next blockbuster have emerged from the ice.

Disney's Broadway-bound FROZEN has officially found its Anna for this week's developmental lab!

?The public is invited to an Open House and Preview Event showcasing the Fabulous Fox Theatre's 2016-2017 U.S. Bank Broadway Series on Sunday, May 15 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Fox Theatre, 527 N. Grand Blvd. Visitors will be treated to live previews of FUN HOME and A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE & MURDER along with video previews from the other season shows.

AN AMERICAN IN PARIS will launch a national tour in Boston at the Citi Wang Theatre October 25-November 6, following a preview period at Proctor's in Schenectady, NY. As previously announced, Garen Scribner,currently playing Jerry Mulligan in the Broadway production, will star in the tour along with Sara Esty, who plays Lise Dassin at various performances on Broadway. Additional casting for the tour will be announced in the coming months.

An American in Paris bursts into life on the West End stage for the first time when ChristopherWheeldon's multi award-winning new Broadway musical comes to London's Dominion Theatre next spring.

AN AMERICAN IN PARIS moved to Broadway following its world premiere in December, 2014 at the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris. It is directed and choreographed by Christopher Wheeldon, making his Broadway directing debut. Featuring music and lyrics by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin and a book by Tony and Pulitzer Prize nominee Craig Lucas, the creative team also includes Tony Award winners Bob Crowley (sets and costumes), Natasha Katz (lighting) and Jon Weston (sound) with a musical score adapted and supervised by Rob Fisher. Bartlett Sher is creative consultant. Based on the Academy Award winning film inspired by the 1928 orchestral composition by George Gershwin, An American in Paris brings this classic tale to Broadway for the first time.

AN AMERICAN IN PARIS director/choreographer Christopher Wheeldon was featured on Sunday night's 60 MINUTES, talking about how he's breaking new ground in dance and reinvigorating ballet by making it sensual, athletic and edgy. Wheeldon won a Tony for his choreography for PARIS, which combines musical theater dance with ballet moves. He also directed it - a first for him that caused some jitters. 'They probably couldn't see the sweat kind of trickling down the back of my neck,' he tells Stahl.

Today at Lincoln Center, New York City Ballet begins its Spring Season rehearsal period with the Company's 90 plus roster of dancers preparing 24 different works from its unparalleled repertory for six weeks of performances, April 19 through May 29, at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center.

An eager and enthusiastic crowd of 2,800+ filed into the Connor Palace this evening to be among the first in the country to hear the lineup of hit shows coming to Cleveland as part of Playhouse Square's 2016-2017 KeyBank Broadway Series. Frozen might not arrive on Broadway until 2018, but preparations for the stage musical are already beginning. According to an Equity casting notice, a developmental lab will be held this spring, with rehearsals running April 30 through May 13. Auditions commence for the roles of Anna (late teens to 20s) and Elsa (20s to early 30s) later this month. Auditions for the Denver and Broadway productions will not begin until summer 2016.

The Houston Symphony in collaboration with Dutch classical music label, PENTATONE, announced today the international release of the Houston Symphony's recording of Antonin Dvorak's Symphony No. 7 and Symphony No. 8, conducted by Music Director Andres Orozco-Estrada, his first commercial recording with the orchestra and the first Houston Symphony audio recording since 2011.
