It will be directed by Ed Sylvanus Iskandar, a 2012 Drama Desk Award nominee for These Seven Sicknesses, and stars The Bats, the resident Acting Company at The Flea. Due to production delays caused by Hurricane Sandy, the show now opens tonight, November 15 (one week later) and runs through December 2. Critics are invited on or after tonight, November 15.

Guggenheim Museum presents Gabriel Orozco: Asterisms, a two-part sculptural and photographic installation by the Mexican-born artist comprising thousands of items of detritus he gathered at two sites-a playing field near his home in New York and a protected coastal biosphere in Baja California Sur, Mexico, which is also the repository for flows of industrial and commercial waste from across the Pacific Ocean.

If 'Adam's Rib' and 'Moneyball' mated and begat a play, it might be 'Skybox,' a comedy of class warfare and the battle of the sexes that is set in the luxury box of a major league baseball park. The play, written by Walt Stepp and directed by Lissa Moira, is the successor to their collaboration on 'Siren's Heart: Norma Jean and Marilyn in Purgatory,' a play by Stepp which started at Theater for the New City and is now running Off-Broadway at the Actors Temple Theatre. Theater for the New City will present 'Skybox' November 8 to December 2 in its Cino Theater.

First Indigenous Dancer Ella Havelka to Join The Australian Ballet

The Australian Ballet has announced that Ella Havelka will be joining the company. She will be the first Indigenous dancer to join The Australian Ballet. Havelka will perform her final shows with Bangarra Dance Theatre in Brisbane this week and will start rehearsing with The Australian Ballet in Sydney in November.
