New Repertory Theatre announces ON THE VERGE by Eric Overmyer. Directed by Jim Petosa, ON THE VERGE performs in the Charles Mosesian Theater at the Arsenal Center for the Arts, 321 Arsenal Street, in Watertown, MA.

The Old Vic today announced its programme for Summer/Autumn 2014. The CQS Space, The Old Vic in the round, will be home to the whole season of productions, continuing after Other Desert Cities which opens this month. The plays will be performed in the round, a transformation of The Old Vic's auditorium first seen for the award-winning 2008 production of The Norman Conquests. The acclaimed actress, gearing up for a brief spring run in the New York Philharmonic's production of SWEENEY TODD, has signed on to star in 'comic thriller' THE LONG MIDNIGHT OF BARNEY THOMSON. The film, based on Douglas Lindsay's novels, was written by Richard Cowan and Colin McLaren, and marks Robert Carlyle's directorial debut.

Co-chaired by Sir Howard Stringer, Arielle Tepper Madover, and Renee Beaumont, this unforgettable summer evening will also honor the late Nora Ephron who was a long-time board member and consummate lover of The Public's Shakespeare in the Park.

Des McAnuff was invested into the Order of Canada at a ceremony presided over by the Governor General in Ottawa this morning. The Stratford Festival extends heartiest congratulations to Mr. McAnuff, who was Artistic Director from 2008 through 2012, and is currently directing Tommy, a musical based on the album by The Who, which he helped composer-lyricist Pete Townshend create.
