2010 was a year filled with all sorts of exciting BroadwayWorld interviews - here's some of this year's highlights!

Hamingson), Producer Mark Russell and The Association of Performing Arts Presenters (APAP President and CEO Sandra Gibson) are happy to announce that tickets are on sale now for UNDER THE RADAR 2011, running January 5-16 at The Public Theater as well as at partner venues around the city.

The Los Angeles premiere of K2, written by Patrick Meyers and directed by Damen Scranton, will play two lower-priced previews at the Underground Theater in Hollywood on Thursday, October 7 and Friday, October 8 at 8pm, and opening is set for Saturday, October 9, 2010, at 8pm. K2 will play a strictly limited engagement through Sunday, November 14.

Actors Sean Galuszka and Jake Suffian recently went rock climbing in Rubidoux, CA in preparation for their roles in 'K2,' opening Saturday 10/9 at the Underground Theater in Hollywood. Previews begin Thursday 10/7. Broadwayworld brings you photo coverage below.

Little did composer/lyricist Jerry Herman know that when he wrote that lyric for LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, he was actually predicting his own future. The original production of LA CAGE opened to enormous critical acclaim in 1983 and is currently receiving its second revival on Broadway in The Menier Chocolate Factory's brilliantly scaled-down version. The second act showstopper in every version is 'The Best of Times' which inevitably has the audience singing along when it's performed during the final bows. It's also the song that seems to be going through Herman's head ever since August 13th when he learned he'd been named to receive one of this year's Kennedy Center Honors.

Broadway powerhouse Nederlander Presentations have filed suit against Michael Jackson's estate, claiming Jackson's representatives are blocking them from creating a Broadway musical based on the hit maker's catalogue.

Today, in honor of the DVD release of Rob Marshall's film version of the 1982 Tony-winning Best Musical NINE, Maury Yeston was gracious and generous enough to grant me a few hours in which I could ask him intimate questions about his life, career and the future of theatre itself. His stage musicals include two Tony-winning Best Musicals, NINE and TITANIC, as well as: IN THE BEGINNING, GRAND HOTEL, PHANTOM, and the forthcoming DEATH TAKES A HOLIDAY, as well as a full-length ballet of TOM SAWYER premiering later this year. From the handwritten letter sent by Katharine Hepburn to Frederico Fellini after seeing the workshop of NINE thirty years ago to this very day when NINE hits DVD, we will take a look at this magnanimous maestro's starry career in this inaugural InDepth InterView. New York City Opera today released full casting details for the 2009-2010 season, its first under the new leadership of General Manager and Artistic Director George Steel. The company will present five operas in 2009-2010, in fall and spring seasons, in the newly renovated David H. Koch Theater (formerly the New York State Theater).

American Lyric Theater (ALT) will present 10 Family Preview Performances featuring excerpts from THE GOLDEN TICKET, a new opera based on Roald Dahl's 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,' as part of the KidZone program of family events at The New York Chocolate Show, to take place at The Metropolitan Pavilion, 125 W. 18th Street, NYC, from October 30 - November 1, 2009.
