The prestigious, award-winning Arts Academy, The San Dieguito Academy will present Part II of Paul Coates' critically acclaimed trilogy, The Living Plays: The Middle Of It, as a benefit fundraiser for the Theatre Program, with two performances on February 25th, 2017. With a cast of Guest Artists, Alumni and current theatre students, Mr. Coates returns with the second piece of his trilogy, having premiered The End Of It at the school three years ago. He followed that with his sold out performance of his play, PAIN, and returns for a third event, with this searing, powerful and passionate piece. "The End Of It was my exploration into marriage and divorce, and The Middle Of It is about children, and the impact they have on their families, their parents, their legacy and more. I'm honored and thrilled to return to my alma mater with this amazing cast of gifted actors." The cast includes the writer/director, as well as April Audia, Bill Barker, Lorena Darter Connolly, Jean Henshaw, Jacob Morilak, Ben Rovner, Jennifer Sorenson, Jenna Steinberg and Jewels Weinberg. The event is being produced by Michelle Marie Trester and the SDA TAC. Ticket go on sale December 1st, check out the Facebook page, for ticketing info, show times, etc.
