San Antonio's Woodlawn Theatre opens Andrew Lloyd Webber's CATS, running May 9 through May 15. Come out and see this spirited show, inspired by T. S. Elliot's Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats.

The Jellicle cats are celebrating at the Jellicle Ball, awaiting Old Deuteronomy's choice of which cat will be reborn into a new life. One by one, the cats step forward to introduce themselves, auditioning for the chance to take the journey to the Heaviside layer.

If you want to know what all the magic is about, come out and see CATS for yourself!

The historic WOODLAWN THEATRE, sister theatre to the San Antonio’s Majestic Theatre, opened in 1946. John Wayne hosted the premiere of his classic film “The Alamo”, in which he also made his directorial debut.  The premiere of Pink Floyd's lazer light show also made its debut at the historic Woodlawn Theatre.
