Deer Crest Club Creates Matching Grant for Park City Institute; LIVE PC GIVE PC 2013 Event Set for Today

Deer Crest Club at The St. Regis Deer Valley has committed to a generous matching grant for Park City Institute, formerly Park City Performing Arts Foundation, during the third annual "Live PC Give PC 2013" event today, November 8, 2013. Part of the Club's ongoing support of arts and culture in the Park City community, the grant is designed to encourage community-wide support for Park City Institute. The Deer Crest Club grant of up to $25,000 will match each donation of $10 or more made to Park City Institute at www.livepcgivepc.org during the 24-hour event on November 8th.

"We are thrilled to have the generous support of Deer Crest Club for Live PC Give PC on November 8th, an extraordinary day to support the organizations that make Park City such a great place to live," said Teri Orr, executive director of Park City Institute. "This $25,000 matching grant is so meaningful because it inspires other donors to step up now while their donations are made doubly effective. This grant will help further our mission of enriching the community by providing innovative experiences that entertain, educate and illuminate," Orr continued. "It will have a significant impact on the Institute's many programs like our TEDx events, private speaker's series, and "Curiosities" Salon Evenings. This grant will support outreach programs like the Mega Genius Supply Store, our free literacy-tutoring center, and our practice of providing free performance tickets to students, and to underserved populations throughout Summit County including members of the Park City Senior Center and those served by Chrysalis and Holy Cross Ministries."
