April 26, 2014 year on the stage of the Yekaterinburg Opera introduced a new staging of one of the most popular and beloved viewers around the world of the operas of Tchaikovsky's "Eugene Onegin".

Tell the "universal story of unrequited love" is so defined its primary task of Opera directors, Dieter, Martin Kaègi and Gerald Štol?vicer.

Erasing temporary and ideological boundaries, by carrying the Opera's in the middle of the last century; and, following the Tchaikovsky, searching for sincerity of musical expression, give the performers to live the story of Eugene Onegin and Tatiana out the historical context and the Viewer to become a participant and witness to the action unfolding in the here and now.

"We aim to create a modern performance in which the fore feelings, experiences and relationships of the characters," said Dieter. Answer questions: why two hearts could not be reunited? What stereotypes, norms, philosophical ideas, and other "barriers", formed the society, "shut down" the heart Onegin, making it a typical representative of the consumer society, where a ball is ruled by dissociation and alienation.

"The Opera audience is thinking," said Dieter,-so we expect from Ekaterinburg frank and free of perception.
