Called "one of America’s very best singer-songwriters" by Hendrik Hertzberg of The New Yorker, Dar Williams, a Westchester native, has 19 released from the rare cassette-only I Have No History (1990), though her latest Emerald (2015). Opening the evening are The NIELDS, whose albums are often an eclectic mix of ideas and music styles. The primary inspiration behind their latest release, XVII (2015) was Nerissa and Katryna Nield’s hero, Pete Seeger.
