Sometimes you just feel like laughing. The Contemporary Theater Company is full of laughter this summer with its production of One Man, Two Guvnors by Richard Bean, playing July 14 - August 12.

This farce originally opened in London in 2011 and The Daily Telegraph called it "the feelgood hit of the summer!"

In One Man, Two Guvnors, Francis, played by CTC ensemble member Rico Lanni, finds himself at the beck and call of two employers, rivals in the local mob scene. Things spin out of control as he tries to keep it all straight without revealing everyone's secrets.

"There's comedy, audience participation, confusion, comedy, fancy food, and comedy," says the show's director Sami Avigdor.

The main character, Francis, breaks the fourth wall throughout the show, speaking to the audience directly, adding extra fun to the proceedings. Physical comedy fills the show with laughs as Francis unravels trying to keep up with the demands of his bosses.

"There are twists and turns, secrets and reveals," says Communications Director Maggie Cady, "but above all, there's just a lot of silly fun!"

The cast includes Rico Lanni, Sarah Reed, Tyler Brown, Jeremy Chiang, Terry Simpson, Aly Miller, Isobel McCullough, Bob Mignarri, Devon Andrews, Ezra Jordan, Tina Moore, and Nick Fazio.
