Premiered as we know it today in 1895 at the Mariinsky Theater in St. Petersburg, 'Swan Lake' is the quintessential ballet classical repertoire. The play takes place between love and magic, linking his paintings in the eternal struggle of good and evil. In it, the sorcerer Von Rothbart tricks the prince Sigfrido so that he marry his daughter Odile instead of his beloved Odette, young turned into a swan by the evil sorcerer whose spell can only be broken if you find true love.
The Russian National Ballet was founded in 1989, when the soloist of the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow and Honorary People's Artist of the USSR since 1976, Sergei Radchenko tries to realize his vision of a company that meet the most classic elements of the great ballet companies Kirov and Bolshoi in a new independent company within the framework of Russian classical ballet. So great dancers from all over Russia forged under the direction of Radchenko an exciting company, staging new productions of timeless classics like 'Swan Lake'.
