For the first time, Jun Nakabayashi, Taconic Opera’s conductor and Musical Director, will conduct a chamber concert featuring the Taconic Opera orchestra. Mr. Nakabayashi is a masterful conductor and emerges from our orchestra pit to bring us some of the most famous and beautiful chamber music ever written. As part of the evening’s repertoire, he will conduct Schubert’s 5th Symphony and also Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 23 in A Major. Kessa Montez, the young woman who inspired the creation of Taconic Opera twenty years ago (by coming into existence), will make her debut as a concert pianist with this concerto. Don’t miss it!
