Music meets Bells concept pioneered by Sitar Maestro Bharat Ratna Pt. Ravi Shankar was passed on to one of his senior disciples Pt. Tarun Bhattacharya (Santoor) and Guru Sanchita Bhattacharya (Odissi dancer) with the premier show staged in Delhi on 24 Feb 2012 celebrating George Harrison’s 69th birth anniversary.



Soon the concept was extended with the addition of Flute and several concerts by the trio that took the music world by storm. This time around, Music meets Bells has extended its horizons in its new avatar being an amalgam of Sangeet Samrat N. Ravikiran on Chitravina, along with Santoor and Odissi dance in a spontaneous live conversation on stage. Thus, audiences get a classy but exciting and enchanting live representation of North, South and Central Indian fine art forms under the same roof.
