Some forty years ago, backed by the collective energy of some bold women and friends who became known as Olivia Records, Cris Williamson went into the studio, with a band of women musicians and engineers, and made a classic album, The Changer and the Changed. Little did anyone know that this music would keep and sustain so many for so long. Lives were changed -- old patterns ended, new journeys begun. This music moved off the private page and flowed into the lives of hundreds of thousands of women, giving them words and chords to match their experience, and help where it was needed. Today, Cris brings this much-loved music to the city of Mesa and its beautiful Mesa Arts Center. Join Cris and friends and special guests as they come together to honor 40 years of community and a celebration of life, love, music, and all that has changed.
