KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN Kicks Off 11th Hour Theatre Company's Next Step Concert Series This Weekend

11th Hour Theatre Company's Next Step Concert Series begins with the Terrance McNally/Kander and Ebb TONY winner Kiss of the Spider Woman. This concert performance runs this weekend, November 7-9 at the Studio Theatre, Hamilton Family Arts Center, Arden Theatre Company, at 62 N. 2nd Street. Kiss Of The Spider Woman is a thrilling musical with a book by TONY Award winner Terrance McNally, and music and lyrics by TONY winners John Kander and Fred Ebb. Based on the novel by Manuel Puig, this exciting musical illustrates how companionship, however unlikely it may be, can help you weather even the most extreme circumstances. It is told through the story of two cellmates in a Latin American prison.

This concert is directed by 11th Hour co-founder Steve Pacek. Amanda Morton is the Musical Director. The cast includes: Robert Hager as Molina, Jake Blouch as Valentin, Alina John as Aurora, Jonathan Silver as Gabriel, Larry Lees as the Warden, Cara Noel Antosca as Marta, Nancy Boykin as Molina's Mother, and Geoff Bruen, Daniel Vito Siefring, Bren Thomas, and Christopher Haig as Prisoners.

New and seldom seen musicals are stripped down to their very essence...good storytelling and incredible music.
