Set in Scotland, La Sylphide tells the story of a forest fairy who uses her magical gifts to attract a young Scotsman on the eve of his nuptials; ultimately leaving his fiancée at the altar to chase after the sylph. What follows is a romantic tale of unrequited love.

Based on the tale by French author Charles Nodier and originally choreographed by August Bournonville in 1836, this stunning new production captures all the passion and charm of this great Romantic-era classic.
