Ghostlight Records and Two River Theater have released the Original Cast Recording of the new musical BE MORE CHILL in digital formats today, October 30. Check out a special 'Making of the Cast Album' video -- featuring several songs along with exclusive footage of the recording session, the production and interviews with the cast and creative team -- below! The international digital release will be on Friday, November 13; with physical CDs in stores and online Friday, December 18.

Last night, Thursday October 1, Samuel French, the world's largest publisher and licensor of stage plays and musicals, in collaboration with HowlRound, presented Sing and Tell: A Benefit Concert for the Dramatists Guild Fund at Feinstein's/54 Below.

Two River Theater presents the world premiere of Be More Chill, a new musical with music and lyrics by Joe Iconis and book by Joe Tracz, based on the acclaimed 2004 novel by Ned Vizzini. The press opening is tonight, June 5, and performances will continue through Sunday, June 21 in Two River's Rechnitz Theater, 21 Bridge Avenue, Red Bank, NJ. Laura Osnes, Santino Fontana, Betsy Wolfe, Andrew Samonsky, John Ellison Conlee, Ann Harada and more starred in Transport Group's concert presentation of THE MUSIC MAN last week. Hosted by Joe Iconis, the evening included 58 actors, and the original orchestration featuring 20 instruments, conducted by Joey Chancey, original choreography by Jeffry Denman. You may recognize Annie Golden from the hit TV show 'Orange is the New Black' or from the Original Broadway Cast of HAIR. That was the idea that led to this musical, Annie Golden: Bounty Hunter, Yo, which uses the conventions---both theatrical and musical---of 70's blaxploitation films to tell the story of a widowed down-on-her-luck theatre actress who becomes a bounty hunter and goes on a journey of self-discovery and serious ass-kicking.

THE CRAFT: The Musical is a brand new musical inspired by the 1996 cult film of the same name. Barrington Stage Company, under the leadership of Julianne Boyd, Artistic Director, and Tristan Wilson, Managing Director, presents a workshop production of the new musical The Black Suits with music and lyrics by Joe Iconis and book by Joe Iconis and Robert Emmett Maddock. The Black Suits is part of Barrington Stage's Musical Theatre Lab, William Finn, Artistic Producer. Directed by John Simpkins, with musical direction by James Sampliner, The Black Suits will run August 16 through September 2 at BSC's St. Germain Stage (formerly Stage 2), located on the upper level of the Sydelle and Lee Blatt Performing Arts Center, 36 Linden Street, Pittsfield. Libra Theater Company presented Songs You Should Know, a concert of new and rarely performed songs by some of today's most prolific music theater writers on Monday, February 6th at The Laurie Beechman Theatre.
