On last night's WATCH WHAT HAPPENS LIVE, actress Kristin Chenoweth was asked by a caller whether the rumor is true that she will be starring in the musical adaptation of SOAPDISH in London's West End and her answer has us really excited!

Disney and Cameron Mackintosh announce casting for the 2017 performances of the international tour of their multi award-winning musical MARY POPPINS, which will play in Switzerland and Dubai in 2017. Following the current highly acclaimed run of the production at the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff, the new cast of MARY POPPINS will open at the Theater 11 in Zurich, Switzerland on Wednesday 1 February 2017 with performances until Sunday 19 March 2017. The production will then run at Dubai Opera in Dubai, UAE from Monday 1 May 2017 until Wednesday 18 May 2017.

Rachel Kavanaugh directs a new stage version of HALF A SIXPENCE a Chichester Festival Theatre this season, with book by Julian Fellowes and new music and lyrics by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe, alongside original songs by David Heneker. Broadway's supercalifragilistic, award-winning hit opened last night, October 30, and runs through January 5. Broadway star Rob McClure (Chaplin) returns to The Muny for the second time this summer as Bert in The Muny's production of Disney's MARY POPPINS. McClure appeared earlier this season as Farquaad in the theatre's production of SHREK: THE MUSICAL. The Broadway musical Disney and Cameron Mackintosh's MARY POPPINS just released a new promotional video montage about the show. It includes clips from the show, showcasing much of the amazing dancing as well as many of the high-flying stunts.

Direct from the North American tour of MARY POPPINS, Steffanie Leigh made her Broadway debut in the title role last night, October 11 at the New Amsterdam Theatre. Olivier Award winner Laura Michelle Kelly, The West End's original MARY POPPINS, played her final performance on Broadway Sunday, October 9. Dick Van Dyke delighted theatergoers when he made a surprise cameo in the LA engagement of the MARY POPPINS NORTH AMERICAN TOUR on January 22. Van Dyke, 84, reprised his smaller film role, that of the crotchety bank president Mr. Dawes, in front of an ecstatic, sold out house at the Ahmanson Theater as part of a charity fundraiser.
