Wise Buddah and Mothership Management have announced the launch of Stage Door, a brand new on-demand radio service for fans of modern Musical Theatre. Godspell in Concert will be performed on Monday 19th May 2014 at the Lyric Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue in aid of Make-A-Wish Foundation UK. The show, which was last seen in the West End over 40 years ago, will be introduced by David Essex and feature a West End line-up including Zoe Tyler, Andy Abraham and Stewart Clarke. Special guests include members of the original West End cast, Marti Webb, Gay Soper and Tom Saffery.

Marti Webb, who recently returned to the West End in triumph in her seminal musical, Tell Me on a Sunday, has confirmed she will reunite with David Essex and other original members of the rock musical Godspell at the Lyric Theatre on Monday 19 May.

Godspell, the heart-lifting feel-good Broadway musical from Stephen Schwartz (Wicked), is to be staged in the West End for the first time since it premiered there 42 years ago.

The IDolls brought their brand of soul divadom to The Hippodrome on Sunday 18 November as part of the Live At The Hippodrome season. The IDolls are Portia Emare, Emma Lindars and Charlotte Riby, the trio who first appeared as the Divas in the West End production of Priscilla Queen of the Desert.
