Brooklyn's Brave New World Repertory Theatre is bringing the Bard to the Boardwalk in September with two open air performances of The Tempest by William Shakespeare to be staged on the Coney Island beachfront. Two thousand folding chairs will be provided FREE of charge for audience members on the section of boardwalk adjacent to the Aquarium Education building at 10th Street, which the New York Aquarium is donating for the actors' dressing rooms.

Charlotte Moore and Ciaran O'Reilly continue The Irish Repertory Theatre's twentieth season with George Bernard Shaw's The Devil's Disciple, directed by Tony Walton. Performances begin Wednesday, December 5, 2007 and will perform through January 27, 2008. The official opening will be on Thursday, December 13, 2007. Isaac Robert Hurwitz and Métropole Ink, in association with Jossip.com, will present Marissa Kamin's The Fabulous Life of a Size Zero, directed by Ben Rimalower, Off-Broadway at the DR2 Theatre (103 East 15th street at Union Square) June 14-July 1. The official opening night for is set for June 17 at 7pm.
