On March 18, stars came out to the ShoWest Warner Brothers Luncheon at the Paris Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas to celebrate old projects and promote upcoming new ones.

Nominations for the 2nd Annual Streamy Awards were announced in a live online broadcast today by the International Academy of Web Television, an independent organization of digital entertainment leaders created to recognize excellence in original episodic Web television programming. The Streamy Awards is the first and most prestigious live awards show dedicated to honoring the actors, directors, editors, producers, writers, and production talent behind some of the best original programming on the Web. More than 150,000 public submissions, covering 2,000 original shows, were narrowed down to a field of just over 100 nominatees. Winners will be announced at two separate ceremonies being held on April 7 and April 11, 2010 in Hollywood, CA.

This year's North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival has been 10 years in the making. This nationally renowned festival is celebrating its 10th Anniversary with some substantial growth. The festival runs February 4-27, 2010 and has added two new weeks of sketch comedy performances and film screenings. Television and film star Zach Quinto is expected to star in the upcoming George Gershwin biopic, produced by DreamWorks and Steven Speilberg, according to published reports. Quinto, star of television's 'Heroes' and the recent JJ Abrams Star Trek remake, will play the famed composer who, during his short life, wrote many vocal and theatrical works, including more than a dozen Broadway shows.

Broadway vet Paul Rudd will be teaming up with Zach Galifianakis yet again for the upcoming comedy 'Will,' which Perez Hilton summarizes as centering around 'Rudd whose life and destiny is being written by a scribe in Heaven played by Galifianakis. But one day the scribe stops writing and it's up to Rudd to go on about his day on his own.' Demetri Martin wrote the script and Little Miss Sunshine's Valerie Faris and Jonathan Dayton are directing.

Acclaimed writer/directors Anna Boden & Ryan Fleck's new film It's Kind of a Funny Story begins production in New York City this week. Focus Features holds worldwide rights to the project, which it is co-financing with Wayfare Entertainment.

GQ online has offered a sneak peak of its selections for Men of the Year before the magazines hit newsstands this week. The annual GQ Men of the Year awards gives GQ magazine's 800,000 readers the chance to vote for the most influential figures in a variety of fields over the past year. Among the honorees this year are stage and stars Bradley Cooper and Chris Pine are included this year's list.

Multiple reports have confirmed new progress on the Shrek spin-off, Puss in Boots, slated for release in November of 2011. Zach Galifianakis is allegedly in talks to voice Humpty Dumpty, joining Antonio Banderas as the title character, and Salma Hayek as Kitty. The film will follow Puss in Boots adventures before Shrek 2. The film is written by Tom Wheeler and directed by Chris Miller who co-wrote and co-directed Shrek the Third.
