Pharrell Williams opens a new exhibition, GIRL, at Galerie Perrotin in Paris. With the same name as his most recent album, the exhibition is meant to engage with gender and its role and standing in the art world. This exhibition comes out of the partnership of Williams and gallerist Wmmanuel Perrotin.

Visually arresting puppets make this production of the absurdist classic a memorable one.

Grammy award and Tony award nominee Michael McElroy and Broadway Inspirational Voices (BIV) are gearing up for their second holiday album 'Great Joy II: Around the World'. They are kicking off their fundraising with a Kickstarter campaign, running from May 15th through June 15th. Animals of all kinds will fill Times Square's spectacular screens in May, turning the square into an urban jungle every night with Leslie Thornton's film Binocular Menagerie. Thornton's Midnight Moment film will premiere just before midnight tonight, May 1st, and play every night throughout May from 11:57 p.m.-midnight. Midnight Moment, celebrating its two year anniversary with this program, is a monthly presentation of The Times Square Advertising Coalition (TSAC) and Times Square Arts. Thornton's film is presented in partnership with the Winkleman Gallery.

A personally-owned coat by Beatle John Lennon sold this evening for $31,250 which includes the buyer's premium at Nate D. Sanders Auctions.

Comedian/ vocalist/ beatboxer/ actor / musician/ improvisor extraordinaire Reggie Watts will be performing his highly-anticipated, first full NYC show of the year this summer.
