Now entering its 6th year on Broadway, the musical blockbuster WICKED will welcome new cast members in the coming week. Beginning performances Tuesday, November 11, MARCIE DODD will assume the role of Elphaba and ALLI MAUZEY will assume the role of Glinda. Also joining the company are KEVIN KERN in the role of Fiyero and BRYNN O'MALLEY as Nessarose. ALEX BRIGHTMAN will assume the role of Boq on Tuesday, November 4.

Eden Espinosa and Megan Hilty, who originated the roles of Elphaba and Glinda in the Los Angeles production of WICKED, return to the production on Friday, October 31, through the end of the engagement at the Pantages Theatre.

WICKED celebrates it's 5th Anniversary on Broadway on October 30, the blockbuster musical Wicked hosted several special events and promotions throughout the month of October. Highlights included THE YELLOW BRICK ROAD NOT TAKEN, a one-night-only benefit performance featuring songs and scenes cut from early drafts of the musical, as well as having two of New York's most recognizable landmarks going green in honor of our anniversary: on October 27, the Empire State Building glowed green for the night and for the October 30th performance, Playbill's trademark yellow banner will be specially printed green, the first time in the publication's history that it has altered its masthead.

Award-winning songwriter Stephen Schwartz, famed for his scores for such hit musicals as Godspell, Pippin, and Wicked, will speak, answer questions, and perform several of his songs during the book signing event Thursday, October 30th, 5:30 pm at Barnes and Noble at 1972 Broadway at 66th street in Manhattan.

The Benefit takes place this evening, Monday October 27th.

The Los Angeles production of 'Wicked' announced today that as part of the national celebration of Wicked Day, 'Wicked' fans will be encouraged to commit to a green environment with a Wickedly green, Wickedly fun Scavenger Hunt through Hollywood on Sunday, October 26. Wicked Day is celebrated around the world in the cities where the hit musical is performing.

Wicked at the Apollo Victoria in London celebrated its second anniversary on Saturday, September 27, with the cast and crew thanking the fans for two years of support.
