OLIVER TWIST Adaptation Debuts at Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, 9/12

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey will launch the Fall portion of its 50th Anniversary Season with the critically acclaimed stage adaptation of Charles Dickens' Oliver Twist by British playwright, author, and director, Neil Bartlett. The production begins on September 12, with several discounted Preview performances, and continues through Oct. 7 at The Shakespeare Theatre's Main Stage - the intimate F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre.

he American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) has announced additional casting information for David Adjmi's new play, Marie Antoinette, directed by Rebecca Taichman, with choreography by Karole Armitage, in a co-production with Yale Repertory Theatre. Marie Antoinette begins previews on Saturday, September 1, and runs through Saturday, September 29, with press opening on Friday, September 7 at 7:30pm.

Cape May Stage presents the 2009 Tony Award winner for Best Play: God of Carnage. Directed by Roy Steinberg (Guiding Light, Days of Our Lives) and starring John Viscardi, Michelle Eugene, Emmy nominee Fiona Hutchison (Guiding Light) and multiple Emmy winner Justin Deas (Guiding Light, Santa Barbara, As the World Turns), God of Carnage opens tonight, June 21 at 8:00pm at the Robert Shackleton Playhouse on Bank and Lafayette Streets.

Lungs opens the newly named St. Germain Stage (formerly Stage 2) from May 23 through June 10, and the press opening is Sunday, May 27 at 3pm.
