The Denver Center Theatre Company will begin selling single tickets to the upcoming 2011/2012 season on Sunday, August 14. Tickets may be purchased online at www.denvercenter.org, by phone at 303.893.4100 (TTY 303.893.9582) or at the Denver Center Ticket Services in the lobby of the Helen Bonfils Theatre Complex, Mon - Sat from 10am to 6pm. Special hours on Sunday, August 14 are from 10am to 2pm at the walkup counter in the Helen Bonfils Theatre Complex. Phone agents will also take calls during this time.

Seattle Shakespeare Company announced plans to produce half its season at Intiman Playhouse and half its season at Center House Theatre for 2011-2012. A Midsummer Night's Dream and Pygmalion will be performed at Intiman Playhouse, while Coriolanus and As You Like It will be performed at Center House Theatre. Also, the previously announced performance dates for As You Like It have changed to May 30 through June 24.

Portuguese theater artists Pedro Vieira and Ines Tarouca have created a dance-based performance with text and songs in Portuguese with English translation for the special centennial celebration of America's great playwright, Tennessee Williams. They were inspired by Williams' play Summer and Smoke and the main character's unfulfilled longing for the love of her life.

The comedic stakes of William Shakespeare's TWELFTH NIGHT have been raised to a whole new level in Quantum Theatre's summer production, playing now through August 21 under the Millvale Avenue Bridge in Bloomfield. Founded in 1990 by Karla Boos (who is also the show's director), Quantum Theatre is known for staging site-specific productions in 'found' settings, having performed past years' shows at places like the Strip District's Gage Building and even The Pittsburgh Zoo. In the case of TWELFTH NIGHT, Quantum's is a somewhat contemporary re-imagination of Shakespeare's original text staged at a dead-end, vacant hospital facility.
