Auch am Wochenende wird im Stage Theater in Stuttgart fleißig gearbeitet. Fur Willemijn Verkaik sind die Proben derzeit voll im Gang, bevor sie Ende August dann als Affenmutter Kala im DISNEY MUSICAL TARZAN auf der Buhne stehen wird.

 Dutch vocal powerhouse Willemijn Verkaik will play a one-off solo concert at the Ambassadors Theatre on Tuesday 25 August 2015.

Willemijn Verkaik kehrt nach ihren großen Erfolgen am Broadway und West End nach Stuttgart zuruck und ubernimmt in Disneys Musical TARZAN die Hauptrolle der Affenmutter „Kala". „Die Rolle der Kala ist nicht nur gesanglich und schauspielerisch, sondern auch korperlich eine große Herausforderung. So werde auch ich, wie alle anderen Affen, uber den Kopfen der Zuschauer fliegen. So etwas gibt es nur bei TARZAN und macht dieses Musical einzigartig", freut sich Willemijn Verkaik. Probenstart wird fur Willemijn Mitte Juli sein, ihre Premiere im Stage Apollo Theater ist aktuell fur Ende August geplant.

Today, the special guest artists for Jason Robert Brown's concert have been announced. Taking the stage, Broadway and West End sensation Willemijn Verkaik (star of Women On The Verge Of A nervous Breakdown, Wicked), Cynthia Erivo (The Colour Purple, I Can't Sing), Eleanor Worthington Cox (Youngest ever recipient of a Laurence Olivier Award), Laura Pitt-Pulford (The Sound Of Music) and West End stars Oliver Tompsett and Matt Henry who will all bring his dazzling scores to life with full orchestra.

After selling out four concerts in London, acclaimed songwriter Scott Alan will follow his evenings at the St James Theatre (May 3rd with over 20 surprise guests) and the St James Studio (May 4th - 6th with The Color Purple's Cynthia Erivo) by making his Spanish concert debut on May 11th in 'Scott Alan: Barcelona & Friends.

It's that time of year, and everyone is making their lists. For me, this task is always harder than it probably should be. I wrestle with myself and debate the merits of everything. I worry about who might get their feelings hurt, and whom I may accidentally overlook.
