Broadway In Boston announced today that tickets for the Tony, Grammy and Oliver Award-winning hit musical JERSEY BOYS, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, will go on sale to the public this Sunday, June 12, 2016.  JERSEY BOYS will perform a limited two week engagement at the Boston Opera House October 4-16, 2016 and is part of the 2016/2017 Lexus Broadway In Boston Season.

Casting has been announced for the Providence return engagement of the Tony, Grammy, and Olivier Award-winning hit musical JERSEY BOYS, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, playing at the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) from April 26 - May 1, 2016. This tops the previous record of $1,203,554 held by THE LION KING in 2006. The San Jose engagement of JERSEY BOYS was part of the Broadway San Jose series, a Nederlander Presentation.

The Second National Tour of Jersey Boys, the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning hit musical, will play its 1,000th performance at the Plaza Theater in El Paso, TX on Sunday, June 1 at 7:30pm, the final performance of the El Paso engagement. Following this historic performance, Jersey Boys will play an engagement at Bass Hall in Fort Worth, TX from June 3 - 15.

My first experience with JERSEY BOYS was the Broadway company's rousing performance at Broadway in Bryant Park last summer. After their fun, toe-tapping set, I was looking forward to seeing the 2nd National Tour company perform in Houston, TX. Last night, I took my seat for JERSEY BOYS anticipating hearing some timeless pop classics of yesteryear brought to dazzling life with an intriguing book that strings the hits together for a cohesive and moving story. However, after the 2 hour and 30 minute performance, I felt I was robbed of what should have been a completely entertaining and extravagant theatrical treat.
