Today, the Roundabout Theatre Company released new artwork for the Broadway revival of ON THE TWENTIETH CENTURY, starring Kristin Chenoweth and Peter Gallagher.

Eight outstanding educators from schools and performing arts centers around the country will work one-on-one with Broadway greats at the 5th Annual FREDDIE G BROADWAY EXPERIENCE July 9th - 12th. The event has once again been underwritten by Myrna and Freddie ('G') Gershon, Chairman and CEO of leading theatrical licensor Music Theatre International (MTI). The weekend honors instructors and teachers who are working to make a difference for their students and communities through the process of staging musical theatre productions in their schools and educational theatre groups. In addition to the New York experience, each of the teachers' schools receives $5,000 from Freddie and Myrna to enhance their arts program.

It was a rushed audition and callback process, but finally, we are getting into the meat and potatoes of the SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE season; the live shows. This week's installment is the 200th live show in SYTYCD history, and we finally got to see the Top-20 do their thing.

Principal casting has been announced for the upcoming world premiere production of AN AMERICAN IN PARIS. The cast will include Robert Fairchild as Jerry Mulligan, Leanne Cope as Lise Dassin, Veanne Cox as Madame Baurel, Jill Paice as Milo Davenport, Brandon Uranowitz as Adam Hochberg, and Max Von Essen as Henri Baurel.

After Midnight, directed and choreographed by Warren Carlyle and featuring the big-band sounds of nine-time Grammy Award-winner Wynton Marsalis' Jazz at Lincoln Center All-Stars, closed last night at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre after 273 performances. At the time of its closing, After Midnight will have run 8 months, with 19 preview performances and 272 regular performances. Patti LaBelle, who is currently guest starring in AFTER MIDNIGHT on Broadway, told ABC News Radio that she has a few connections up her sleeve that she hopes will save the show before its planned closing (and her final performance) on June 29th. And she says she's not beyond begging; the show is worth it to her.

'After Midnight's Patti LaBelle stopped by last night's WATCH WHAT HAPPENS live on Bravo

Bravo has announced that Grammy Award-winning legend Patti LaBelle, who just joined the cast of the Tony-nominated Broadway musical After Midnight, will be a guest on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live, on Tuesday, June 17th.

Producers Scott Sanders and Wynton Marsalis announced today that After Midnight, the seven-time 2014 Tony® Award-nominee, and winner of the Tony® Award for Best Choreography (Warren Carlyle), will play its final performance on Sunday, June 29 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 W 47th Street). At the time of its closing, After Midnight will have run 8 months, with 19 preview performances and 272 regular performances. Conceived by Jack Viertel, and directed and choreographed by Warren Carlyle, After Midnight began preview performances on Friday, October 18, 2013, and opened to the best reviews of any new musical this season on Sunday, November 3, 2013.

This just in - as per the NY Times, a spokesman for the Broadway production of AFTER MIDNIGHT has confirmed that the show will close on June 29, 2014, 8 months into the show's run. The show, a $7 million dollar production will close at a loss, at the conclusion of current guest star Patti LaBelle's final performance. The production was hoping to shut down temporarily over the July 4th holiday, before the next star Gladys Knight was due to begin performances, but not all of the unions agreed to the proposal, making it impossible to continue running.

Dallas Summer Musicals, Inc. (DSM) announced their 2014/2015 season of shows at Fair Park Thursday June 12. Heavy rain forecasts moved the 75-Year kickoff event from the Fair Park Band Shell where DSM first performed their shows to the nearby Centennial Building.
