The CAPA Summer Movie Series, the longest-running classic film series in America, celebrates its 44th anniversary in 2014 with an impressive assembly of classics, cult favorites, and beloved films. The 2014 series, made possible through the generous support of PNC, will run June 6-August 10 at the historic Ohio Theatre (39 E. State St.), featuring 28 films over nine weeks (no films scheduled the week of the Fourth of July holiday).

Fans of Prince will love his new licensing deal with Warner Brothers Records. Not only will they get a delux reissue of his iconic PURPLE RAIN, but a new album is in the works as well. 'A brand-new studio album is on the way and both Warner Bros. Records and Eye are quite pleased with the results of the negotiations and look forward to a fruitful working relationship,' Prince said in a news release.
