The Los Angeles Philharmonic begins its 2012/13 season with an evening honoring the rich tradition of dance rhythms in orchestral music with its Opening Night Concert and Gala: The Philharmonic Dances, led by Music Director Gustavo Dudamel, Thursday, September 27, at Walt Disney Concert Hall. The Philharmonic Dances opens with a pre-concert cocktail reception, at 6 pm, followed by the 7 pm concert, with dinner and dancing to follow.

The complete first seasons of the hit ABC shows Revenge, Once Upon a Time and Scandal are now available for U.S. members to watch instantly on Netflix and will become exclusive to Netflix at the end of the month.

ESPN and the Big 12 Conference have reached a new, 13-year rights agreement through 2024-25 it was announced today by Big 12 Commissioner Bob Bowlsby and ESPN President John Skipper.

The Wichita premiere of Disney's THE LION KING opens tonight, Friday, September 7, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. at Century II Concert Hall for a limited engagement of four weeks through Sunday, September 30, 2012. In Wichita, THE LION KING plays Tuesday through Thursday evenings at 7:30 p.m., Friday nights at 8:00 p.m., Saturdays at 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 1:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., with a special matinee performance on Thursday, September 27 at 1:00 p.m. There will not be an evening performance on Sunday, September 30. "Thus far sales have exceeded our expectations, but there are still great seats available! Thanks to this amazing Broadway touring company and the City of Wichita, which has done such a beautiful job getting Century II ready for THE LION KING," said Mark Edleman, President of Theater League.

Tickets will go on public sale for the West End production of The Book of Mormon on 23 September 2012. The London production will begin preview performances at the Prince of Wales Theatre on 25 February 2013.

Celebration Theatre in association with DEMAND PRoductions and Peter Schneider have announced the first show of its celebratory 30th Anniversary Season, the world premiere musical, JUSTIN LOVE, with book by Patricia Cotter and David Elzer, story by David Elzer and Bret Calder, music by Lori Scarlett and David Manning and lyrics by Lori Scarlett.
