Deadline reports that Academy Award winner Martin Landau and Oscar-nominated Virginia Madsen have joined the cast of Lifetime's upcoming biopic THE ANNA NICOLE STORY. Mary Harron (American Psycho) will direct the project and will executive produce along with Craig Zadan, Neil Meron and Judith Verno.

Deadline.com has announced that Virginia Madsen, David Julian Hirsh, Jon Seda and Billy Zane are set for recurring roles on upcoming TV shows this fall. Madsen will join the cast of AMC's western drama, Hell On Wheels in a three-episode story arc. The actress will portray Mrs. Hannah Durant, the wife of Thomas "Doc" Durant played by Colm Meaney.

Julia Stiles stars in a new series, BLUE which is premiering now on the YouTube Channel, WIGS (www.youtube.com/wigs). In the series, Stiles stars as the title character, a single mom trying to protect her son from the consequences of her secret career.

A Work of Art was produced in The Blank Theatre's Young Playwrights Festival in 1997.

More than 50 actors are set to participate in The Blank Theatre's 20th Anniversary Young Playwrights Festival, including Catherine Hicks (7th Heaven), Laura Silverman (The Sarah Silverman Program), Mackenzie Phillips (American Graffiti, One Day At A Time), Peri Gilpin (Frasier), Josh Randall (Greek, Scrubs, Dusk Rings A Bell at The Blank), Lenny Jacobson (Nurse Jackie, Sukie & Sue: Their Story at The Blank), Zach Roerig (The Vampire Diaries), and Matthew Moy (2 Broke Girls). The Blank Theatre Company (Daniel Henning, Founding Artistic Director) has announced the final production of its 20th anniversary season, the West Coast premiere of The Temperamentals by Jon Marans. Directed by Michael Matthews, The Temperamentals began preview performances on Saturday, April 9, 2011 and opened on Saturday, April 16 at 8pm. The engagement will run through Sunday, May 22.
