Sony Classical and Madison Gate Records announce the release of FENCES (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack), featuring music by Marcelos Zarvos. The soundtrack is available today, December 16. The film arrives in theatres on December 25, 2016.

Paramount Pictures, with the Curran theater and the San Francisco Film Society, will present the San Francisco Premiere of the film Fences, which has been adapted into a motion picture by the late August Wilson. The event, 30 years after the play first played at the Curran theater ahead of its Broadway premiere, will reopen the Curran following a just-completed, extensive renovation.

August Wilson's MA RAINEY'S BLACK BOTTOM will be the next project that actor and director Denzel Washington will adapt for the screen. Celebrating 10 seasons of Roundabout Underground, Roundabout Theatre Company has announced the sixth annual Roundabout Underground Reading Series, a five-night event that includes nightly readings of new works written and directed by emerging artists, as well as post-show receptions. The Reading Series will feature new works by Saheem Ali, Emily Feldman, Alex Lubischer, Don Nguyen, Ming Peiffer and Michael Thurber.

'La La Land' was singing a happy tune when The Washington, D.C. Area Film Critics Association (WAFCA) announced their top honorees for 2016 this morning. Sparkling musical love story 'La La Land' was the big winner, racking up seven awards, including Best Film and Best Director (Damien Chazelle).

Last night, on Tuesday, November 29th, the National YoungArts Foundation (YoungArts) kicked off its Miami Art Week programming with the debut of two visual arts exhibitions: When We Were Young, which features rarely seen contemporary masterworks from the JPMorgan Chase Art Collection paired with newly created works by YoungArts Visual Arts alumni; and Roots, an immersive, site-specific installation of new work by Cuban-American artist Jose Parla.
