Unicorn Theatre and UMKC Theatre partner again, this time to produce Lynn Nottage's Pulitzer Prize Winning play, RUINED. This partnership, now in the third season, has great impact for both organizations. Graduate students pursuing their MFA in performance or design work right along professional actors, designer and directors to hone their crafts in a practical format. The Unicorn gains access to talented, young artists before they even start out their careers. Many students who have worked here as students, have since been hired back as professionals when they graduate.

Intiman Theatre Artistic Director Kate Whoriskey announces a production shift in the previously announced 2011 Season. A Boy and His Soul, written and performed by Tony Award-nominated Colman Domingo and directed by Tony Kelly, will replace The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.

Bed and Sofa, a ‘silent movie musical', is to receive its European Première at the multi-award-winning Finborough Theatre, with a cast led by Kaisa Hammurland and featuring the voice of Penelope Keith. With music by Polly Pen and libretto by Laurence Klavan, it will play from 29 th March - 23rd April as part of 'In Their Place', a three month season of work by women playwrights and composers.

Mark Blum, Michael Stahl-David, Donna Hanover, Tom Lipinski and Liz Stauber will comprise the cast of Christopher Shinn's play PICKED -- being given its world-premiere production by the Vineyard Theatre (108 E. 15 St.), with previews starting April 6 prior to its official opening night on April 20 -- it has been announced by Douglas Aibel, the Vineyard's artistic director. The delightful Tony Award nominated score by Burton Lane (music) and Alan Jay Lerner (lyrics) is enhanced by classics from their film scores for On A Clear Day You Can See Forever (1970) and Royal Wedding (1951). With a new book by Peter Parnell based on the original book by Alan Jay Lerner, the musical is reconceived and directed by Tony Award winner Michael Mayer. Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) are pleased to announce Manhattan Theatre Club's lineup for the Ernst C. Stiefel "7@7" Reading Series. The readings kick off Monday, February 28 and will be held on consecutive Mondays through April 11.

INVASION! - the new play by the Swedish playwright and novelist Jonas Hassen Khemiri being presented Off-Broadway by The Play Company - will play an altered performance schedule starting Monday, February 28 at Walkerspace (46 Walker St.) in Manhattan, it has been announced by Kate Loewald, Founding Producer, and Lauren Weigel, Executive Producer of The Play Company.

Robin Williams, who makes his Broadway acting debut this spring in Rajiv Joseph's play BENGAL TIGER AT THE BAGHDAD ZOO, will appear on ABC-TV's 'Nightline' on Friday, February 25.

The New York Times reports today that following his stint in DRIVING MISS DAISY, James Earl Jones will be hanging around Broadway a bit longer, assuming the role of Arthur Hockstader in the revival of Gore Vidal's 'The Best Man.' The production is scheduled to open in the spring of 2012. Orphan's Home Cycle director Michael Wilson will helm the revival. The plot centers around chief executive Hockstader trying to decide which presidental nominees to support: William Russell and Joe Cantwell.
