Premieres Artistic Director Paulette Haupt has announced that the company will present Inner Voices, an evening of three one-act solo musicals beginning Saturday, November 10 at 8pm, at 30th Street Theater, 259 West 30th Street. The opening is scheduled for Sunday, November 18 at 3pm.

Rep Stage, the professional Equity theatre in residence at Howard Community College (HCC), continues its 20th anniversary season with J.M. Barrie's stirring, lyrical tale about the tricks of time, loss of innocence and eternal youth. "Mary Rose" opens October 31, 2012, with a limited run through November 18 in the Studio Theatre of the Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center (HVPA) on the campus of HCC.

Making Books Sing (MBS), the critically acclaimed New York-based non-profit that promotes children's literacy and social development through professional theater productions and arts-in-education programs will, in conjunction with The Louis Armstrong House Museum and the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College will present the world-premiere Off-Broadway musical LOUIS ARMSTRONG: JAZZ AMBASSADOR with book by Myla Churchill (MBS's "A Band of Angels") and featuring music made famous by Louis Armstong. Preview performances of LOUIS ARMSTRONG: JAZZ AMBASSADOR begin November 3rd prior to an official opening date of November 4th at Theater 3 (311 West 43rd Street) in Manhattan.

To coincide with the ongoing presidential campaign, the Huntington Theatre Company will stage the American premiere of Now or Later, Christopher Shinn's timely political drama about our freedoms. Drama Desk and Outer Critic's Circle Award winner Michael Wilson, who recently helmed the acclaimed Broadway production of Gore Vidal's presidential drama The Best Man, directs the new production. Vineyard Theatre (Douglas Aibel, Artistic Director and Sarah Stern, Co-Artistic Director) will open its 30th Anniversary season with the world premiere production of CHECKERS, a new play by Academy Award nominee Douglas McGrath (Emma, Infamous, Bullets Over Broadway), directed by Terry Kinney (Reasons To Be Pretty, After Ashley). CHECKERS begins performances on Friday, October 12, 2012 at The Vineyard (108 E. 15 St., between Irving Place and Union Square East). Opening Night is Wednesday, October 31st. Yale Repertory Theatre, in a co-production with American Repertory Theater, presents the world premiere of Marie Antoinette by David Adjmi, directed by Rebecca Taichman. Marie Antoinette will be performed at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street) October 26 through November 17. Opening Night is Thursday, November 1. New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) Artistic Director James C. Nicola and Managing Director William Russo have announced that tickets are on sale for A Civil War Christmas, written by Paula Vogel and directed by Tina Landau. Performances of this holiday-themed work begin Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at 7pm at NYTW, 79 East 4 Street, between Bowery and Second Avenue. Opening night is scheduled for Tuesday, December 4 at 7pm. A Civil War Christmas is scheduled to run through Sunday, December 30.
